How It Works

A standardized treatment train, ready out of the box.

Water moves through a fixed sequence of stages, each one doing a specific job. The result is a predictable, repeatable process that drinking water operators can run with confidence.

    Inlet protection

    NSF®-rated bag filtration in a stainless steel housing captures incoming sediment and particulates, protecting the treatment media that follows.

  2. 2

    PFAS-selective treatment media

    Exchangeable vessels are pre-loaded with PFAS-selective media for reliable removal. The platform is media-agnostic and adapts to specialized adsorption, ion exchange, or carbon media depending on your water chemistry.

    Dual-action polishing & microplastics capture

    A final polishing stage captures microplastics from the source water as well as any particulate or media fines generated upstream, protecting the distribution system. Bag, cartridge, or membrane/microfiltration options are available to match your target particle size and flow.

    Potable-rated connections

    Hydralink™ hose sets and fittings are selected for potable water service and meet industry safety standards, with isolation valves and integrated drains for fast, low-downtime service.

Built-in pressure gauges and vent assemblies at key stages let operators monitor pressure differential and judge filter life without guesswork. The same platform can be configured for granular activated carbon or adapted to other contaminants such as uranium, radium, and nitrates.

The Enclosure

Advanced Climate & Structural Enclosure Design

Every system comes inside a resilient utility enclosure built to protect the equipment and the operator in real-world conditions, from flood-prone sites to freezing winters.

  • Hydrophobic interior. Enamel-backed foam core panels resist moisture and will not rot over time.

  • Climate managed. An industrial dehumidifier limits mold and mildew growth inside the enclosure.

  • Freeze protected. Two heaters, one a redundant backup, keep the system running through cold weather.

  • Flood-proofing drain. A structural drain comes standard on every PFAS-Snare system.

Built in North Carolina

Fabricated and assembled under one roof.

Fabrication, wiring, and plumbing all happen at PRM's North Carolina facility. Every system is factory tested before it ships, then delivered and anchored on site.

ASME Pressure Vessel Shop

Code vessels fabricated to the ASME Pressure Vessel Code.

Factory Tested

Every system is tested before shipment, then anchored on site.

The site contractor handles exterior electrical feeds, the main water connection, and the foundation pad. PRM field service technicians are available for start-up, maintenance, and vessel replacement.

One platform that grows with demand.

The system is modular by design. A single unit fits in a ten-foot enclosure and the platform scales up to twenty-foot and forty-foot lengths, with options for higher flow, added telemetry, and more complex manifolds.
